Public Product Reviews
Public reviews are intended to help readers understand a product's strengths, tradeoffs, and suitability for their needs. Coverage may include original photographs, testing observations, and practical conclusions supported by the work performed.
Providing a product or funding testing does not guarantee a recommendation, favorable rating, or positive conclusion. The scope, deliverables, timing, and any financial arrangements are agreed before a project begins.
Private Product Testing
Private testing can provide feedback on usability, setup, construction, performance, design details, and potential improvements.
The testing questions, deliverables, intended use of the report, and confidentiality arrangements are agreed before work begins. Private testing does not automatically include a public review.
Editorial Independence and Fact Checking
Compensation is for agreed work, not a favorable result.
When appropriate, a brand may receive a limited pre-publication fact-check window to flag factual inaccuracies, incorrect specifications, or legitimate safety, confidentiality, or trademark concerns.
This is not an approval process. Brands do not control review opinions, ratings, conclusions, or whether critical observations and tradeoffs are published. Relevant relationships will be disclosed in any public coverage.

- Your name, company, and role
- The product name and a link to its information
- Its intended customer and the features or claims you want evaluated
- Whether you are requesting a public review or private testing
- Your preferred timeline
- Proposed product, loan, reimbursement, or compensation arrangements
Please do not send confidential information, prototypes, or products until the scope and delivery arrangements have been confirmed. An inquiry or unsolicited product does not guarantee acceptance or coverage.
